FULL WEEKEND OF MOTORSPORT TO KICK OFF THE 2020 SEASON

The wait is nearly over with just 27 more days to the season's first close road event. Kicking things off will be the Barbados Rally Club's (BRC) 'Test Stage' which is intended to give both competitors and volunteers a pre-season refresher. The ‘Test Stage’ is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 and will use a short format of the familiar Orange Hill Stage between the hours of 2:00pm to 5:30pm. It is understood that the event will take on speed event format with drivers being permitted to run as many times as they wish. The event will not be timed event but will surely be prime opportunity for those in new machinery to get some valuable seat time.

The BRC's test event will prove to be of even more value for those competitors also taking part in the Motoring Club of Barbados Inc (MCBI) championship. The MCBI championship season kicks off the day after the test event with the 2020 running of 'Spring Blaze' Double Header speed event. The venue will be Henley to Pool (St.John) and then reverse later in the day. The event is set to start at 10:00 am.

Both events are set be a treat for spectators and will surely set the tone for what is expected to be an action packed season.
